                            The wicketkeeper-batsman made his first-class debut in 2015 for Delhi and followed it up with debut in IPL in 2016. The youngster had earlier led India Greens in the Under-19 Challenger Trophy in the 2015-16 season and was part of the junior national side in the tri-series and was part of the Indian team that made it to the Final of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh.

                            Apart from a record-breaking 24-ball 78 in a league match, he also slammed a century in the tournament. He carried his sparkling form into the 2016-17 season and made his presence felt in the senior circuit. After hitting a triple-ton early in the Ranji Trophy he later slammed a 48-ball century as well. Bought by DD at INR 1.9 crore, which was 19 times his base price of Rs 10 lakhs ahead of IPL 2016, he continued to be part of the squad in the forthcoming season.

                            Pant was picked in the Indian T2OI side and made his debut against England in the T2OI at Bengaluru.
